Our mission is to Give Orphaned Children in Canada a chance by fostering awareness and empathy to their affliction and promote a determination to give every child the right to a permanent loving home.
Orphaned/abandoned children desperately need a permanent home. The adoption process across Canada needs to improve.
This site will inform you of current information, data and research on the issues surrounding orphaned/abandoned children in Canada. There are 88,000 children in Foster Care 49% of foster children are held as Ward of the Crown— in limbo—these children are waiting for a permanent loving home often begging for adoption while decision makers wax and wane. Are children taken from their homes because of the mother’s desperate poverty? Abandonment scars children from the inside. We should all take personal responsibility and make every effort to support the mothers of these valuable little children. Separation is not the answer. · We need your stories—are you an abandoned or orphaned child? Are you an adult trying to adopt? Please write us. · We require funding to keep up lobbying pressure on legislators, media and other organizations that will ultimately apply the pressure needed to affect change.
